Ska-Doosh! (Game)
- 2475
Description - Great for icebreakers and just having fun, but you can also use it as a discussion starter. The game starts with everyone placing one foot as close to a designated spot, thus creating a circular group of people with one foot forward. Someone is designated as "it" and they will count off "1, 2, 3" at which time everyone has the opportunity to jump back, forward, or remain exactly where they were. Then "it" will attempt to jump and tag another person's foot with their foot. If they are not successful, then "it" designates someone else to be "it" and they attempt the same goal. If they are successful, then the person who got tagged is out AND "it" designates someone else to be "it" and they attempt the same goal. Everyone is allowed to jump to another place when 1) "it" jumps towards you and/or 2) "it" jumps anywhere. This way you can position yourself towards or away from "it" with every move that "it" makes. So once your feet are planted, you cannot move (no matter how you landed) until "it" jumps. Another way to get people out is by causing their feet to move by faking a jump in their direction. Be sure you allow 8-10 minutes to play a single game.
Verses - Joshua 24:14-15; Proverbs 16:33
Questions - Have you ever made a decision and then instantly regretted it? Why did you regret it? Why did you make that instant decision?
