YM Resource is for ANYONE who loves teenagers and wants to help them grow in the Lord.  You don't need to be a full-time paid youth worker to use this site.  Volunteers, teachers, ministers, and pastors alike can all benefit from the ideas on this website.

YM Resource is different because it offers easy-to-find, creative solutions for youth worker's needs.  The ideas found here can serve as a stepping stone for discussions, a great opener for Bible class, or a game to tie it all together.

Perhaps the main difference is that you can search two different ways:  by topic AND by verse.  There are several websites that offer topical lessons and ideas, but we discovered a need to search for ideas that illustrated a specific verse or passage. 

At YM Resource, you can type in a book of the Bible, the book's abbreviation, or an actual verse in the search engine and have results immediately. 

All the ideas you see on this website have been submitted by those working with teens.  These are proven ideas already used in classes, retreats, devotionals, mission trips, etc. to help students understand the God's Word better. 

Yes!  The purpose of this site is to have quick, creative ideas easily accessible.  You can quite literally find an idea in 60 seconds!  

If you need an idea based upon a particular Bible verse, use the search engine.  If you need an idea based upon a topic, try the Idea Database first.  If you don't find it there, use the search engine. 

You can subscribe with YMResource.com by clicking here, the "Register" link found in the Login Module, or the link at the bottom of the "Join Now" page. 

After registering, you will receive an activation email to the email address you specified within minutes of completing your registration.  Confirm your email address by clicking on the link sent to you. 

Then log in to using the username and password that you specified.  That's it!

The activation emails are sent as soon as your registration is complete and therefore should be in your Inbox within 2-10 minutes.  If it has been longer than 20 minutes, please read the instructions below.

Here's some things you can do on your end to receive your activation email.  Please do these steps in the following order.

No, you do not have to contribute any ideas in order to be a member.  However, it is always appreciated for our members to pass on ideas so the rest of our community can benefit from them.

To contribute your idea, you must be logged in.  Please follow the instructions below: 

1. Log into your account. 
2. Click on the menu button "Submit Your Idea(s)".  A menu will appear underneath the "Submit Your Idea(s)" button where you can select what type of idea it is.  
3. Give your idea a name and place it in the "Title" blank.   Using the drop down menu, select the Topical Section to which your idea belongs (Hope, Trust, Faith, etc.). 
4. Fill out the "Submission Details" with the information requested.  Each idea submission form differs in its content/details. 
5. Finally, click the "Submit" button to save and submit your idea.
6. Your idea requires final approval from the YMResource.com administrator(s) before being published and viewed on this website. 

Simply put, a Weblink is a link to another website.  In addition to having access to the Idea Database, YM Resource also gives you a select list of other resource websites.  You can access the listing of these sites through the "Links" button on the navigation bar. 

To contribute your idea, you must be logged in.  Please follow the instructions below: 

1. Log into your account. 
2. Click on the menu button "Submit Weblink".  
3. Give the Weblink a name and place it in the "Title" blank.   Using the drop down menu, select the type of website it is (Free, Subscription, Other, etc.)
4. Type in the URL and include whatever details you can describing the purpose of the submitted Weblink.
5. Finally, click the "Save" button (the picture of the disk) to save and submit your idea.
6. Your Weblink requires final approval from the administrator(s) before being published and viewed on this website.  

Yes, we do.  Currently, the RSS feed contains the latest ideas that have been submitted to the idea database.

You can only access the RSS Feed once you are a registered subscriber.  To subscribe to the RSS feed, log into your account.  You will notice in the top right corner (just below the search engine) the RSS logo & a link to view/subscribe the feed.  Click on either one of the links.  Follow the instructions on that page.
